PALAIS BURLESQUE DINNERSHOW

Every Saturday an evening with carefully selected entertainment. A rediscovery of the beautiful theatric songs from the past, played our prima donna Aurora Solà and her maestro in a nightclub atmosphere. A night of unbridled fun, great food, passionate love, a smile and a tear. The Burlesque Dinnershow is a show full of songs, dance, humour, and a touch of Burlesque. The Burlesque performers will amaze you and reveal themselves in extravagant outfits. Experience a magical and perhaps a bit naughty night accompanied by delicious food in Palais Burlesque!

Red Light Jazz

This 10th edition of the Red Light Jazz festival, singer Julia Autumn will perform in Paleis van de Weemoed, with the young talented pianist Stijn van den Berg at her side.

Julia is the granddaughter of actress, comedian and singer Jasperina de Jong (85) and cabaret artist Eric Autumn (1937-1985). She studied at the Theater & Cabaret Academy of the Amsterdam School of the Arts and at the Frank Sanders Akademie and was on stage in theater productions such as 'The Full Monty', 'The day I met Robert Long' and recently in the musical ' Falsettos'. In addition to her theater work, Julia also plays in various television series and commercials.

Julia is blessed with a beautiful voice and has a huge love for jazz. Julia therefore considers it an honor to perform Peggy Lee's most beautiful jazz standards during the anniversary edition of Red Light Jazz.

Stijn graduated from the InHolland Conservatory in Haarlem. He is the regular pianist at Maxim, the well-known piano bar on Leidseplein. Together they bring an ode in the form of a small love story to jazz singer Peggy Lee in the atmospheric Paleis van de Weemoed.

Julia likes to involve the audience in her performances, so you may have a 'guest performance' in store for you on June 10th and 11th if you attend one of the performances at the Paleis van de Weemoed.

CABARET MUSIC NIGHT CLUB STARRING AURORA SOLA

The versatile half Spanish artist Aurora Solá brings a sultry cabaret evening with a comic touch.

Her Spanish temperament and her Dutch sobriety budding itself on stage to a combination of fire, passion and integrity.

With her feminine charms, her humor and her arts and entices Aurora her audience and takes them on an international musical journey along special places and atmospheres in which they the ordinariness of life, nostalgic moments, but above all .. love sings!

AMSTERDAM DINING WITH "TANTE SJAAN"

Tante Sjaan is a typical woman from Amsterdam; the only one! Years ago she started the workshop Plat Amsterdams (Typical Amsterdam language and pronouncement). The workshop Smartlappen singing so now become a familiar name among many Dutch.

With a typical Amsterdam accent sings this lady all old folk songs. Accompanied by an accordion player you will experience at Paleis van de Weemoed an unforgettable nostalgic evening full of jokes, solutions and being happy together.
